500光年先に，地球サイズでかつ「生存可能ゾーン」にある惑星が見つかりました。宇宙の大きさに比べると，500光年はかなり近い。銀河系（天の川）全体の大きさは，10万光年ちかいので，銀河系全体では，大量の地球型惑星が存在するのは間違いない。どこかに知的生命が住んでいたら，我々の地球からの信号，テレビとか携帯電話とか，を観測しているかも。面白い。
